1-50 domain names checked one by one: each name is normalised (lowercase, IDNA) and the TLD registry's own RDAP server is asked (HTTP 404 = no record, 200 = registered); a name with no RDAP record also gets an NS lookup, and NS records make it registered. Returns per name a status (available, registered or unknown), the evidence (rdap_status, ns_found) and a note, plus counts and a disclaimer.
